“That GOD is with you notwithstanding, any promise or blessing you have not deliberately made a choice for, will never become your experience.”
Where you are today is a function of the choices you made yesterday. Failure or success is a choice. Wealth and riches or poverty and hardship are reflections of your choices. Divine health or a life of sickness and affliction all answer to choice. Understand, you are a sum total of your choices. Your choices are what determine your actions.
When choices are not backed by corresponding actions, then obviously a choice to move in the opposite direction has been activated. Laziness is a choice. Procrastination is a choice. Not operating the covenant is a choice. On the other hand, living a holy life and walking according to the precepts of GOD is a choice.
Joshua made a clear choice in Joshua 24:15. He made a public decision on behalf of himself and his family to serve GOD and we saw how he ended up.
HOW DO I MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES?
- Make choices leaning on the counsel of the Scriptures.
- Make choices prayerfully and as guided by the Holy Spirit.
- Make choices learning from the tests and triumphs of those who have gone ahead of you.
- Make choices with your peculiar destiny and assignment in full consideration.
PONDER POINT
Your life at any point in time is a reflection of the choices you have made or failed to make.
Prayers
- Oh GOD, expose me to the knowledge I need to make informed choices, in JESUS Name.
- Fire of the Holy Ghost, destroy every satanically programmed choices in my life, in JESUS Name.
- Holy Spirit, guide me today to make the choices that will move my life forward, in JESUS Name.
- Holy Spirit, open me up to that specific choice I need to make today that I may have ignored all along, in JESUS Name.
