For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ JESUS, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Philippians 3:3 

“The greatest need of the believer is the Outpouring and it is lack of wisdom to pursue other things at its expense.”

The day the believer knows that nothing produces without the Outpouring, he will stop depending on his efforts, knowing fully well that they would not produce without the Outpouring. But inasmuch as the Outpouring is the most important need the believer has, it does not just come, it is provoked and made to happen. The Outpouring comes as an answer to the ardent, heartfelt desire of a believer or group of believers.

To have an encounter with the Outpouring, you must be thirsty and desperate for it. How do you know a believer who is thirsty for the Outpouring?

• He knows that he is useless and would amount to nothing without the Outpouring.
• He has no confidence in the flesh, his skills or talents.
• He will sacrifice anything to have the Outpouring.

The proof of how thirsty you are for the Outpouring is known by how much you are willing to give up to access it. Look at this – the hunger of the Master for the Outpouring was more than His hunger for food. He gave up food for 40 days and nights for the Outpouring. No wonder He returned in the power of the Spirit. Friend, the bigger the price you pay, the bigger the Outpouring you will experience. Depths of experiences in God are not cheap, they are very expensive; not in terms of money but maybe time, things or people that you have to give up to have these experiences. How much value do you place on the Outpouring? What unholy relationships, addictions and habits are you willing to give up?

Friend, the Outpouring is all you need for you to be fruitful in all areas of life. If you are tired of losing years and not gaining much, if you are tired of counting months and not making progress, if you are tired of changing calendars without seeing corresponding changes in your life, then, it is time to go for the Outpouring.

Just Do It

• Discern the true value of the Outpouring and pay the price for it.
• Pray down the Outpouring(Zechariah 10:1). God promised to send the rain but Elijah had to pray it through.

Prayers

• My Father, as I step into the second half of this year, let the Outpouring of Your Spirit overtake every aspect of my life from this day forward, in the Name of JESUS.
• Oh God, send the Outpouring of the Spirit upon my land and cause explosive fruitfulness to erupt on every side, in the Name of JESUS.
