Escaping The Enemy’s Trap

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

In the natural, one of the greatest disasters that can hit a life is epilepsy. When an epileptic seizure takes hold of a life, he convulses any day, anytime, and anywhere. It disgraces a man. The person does not know himself. It is a terrible reproach. Even so, the worst kind of epilepsy is spiritual epilepsy. On today, off tomorrow, spiritually hot today, completely cold tomorrow, on top of spiritual exercises today, and completely off tomorrow.

This is what the enemy has used to capture many and keep them bound and limited. They have epileptic prayer life, epileptic study life, have epileptic service to God, epileptic in holiness, epileptic in their covenant exercises and even in Church attendance. With this kind of life you cannot escape shame and reproach.

For spiritual epilepsy to work, the enemy introduces distractions, depression, wrong thoughts and wrong focus so you give yourself a wrong reason why you cannot do your spiritual exercises. The devil gives people satanic businesses; just being busy so as not to carry out spiritual exercises.

I command the yoke of spiritual epilepsy to break off your life, in the Name of JESUS.

Just Do It

Recognize that you are suffering from spiritual epilepsy.

Accept that spiritual epilepsy is not normal.

Depend daily on the grace of God for daily Christian living (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Feed on the word daily.

Break free from the spirit of spiritual epilepsy through faith and strong prayers.

Ponder Points

Spiritual epilepsy has the power to ground a life and bring everything about that person to a complete halt; don’t allow it.

Oh God, let the spirit of spiritual epilepsy plaguing my life be destroyed by fire, in the Name of JESUS.
By the fire of God, let every root of laziness in my life be swallowed up, in the Name of JESUS.
