The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:3-5  “Until your way is right, everything around you and your life will remain wrong.” Forever, the output of your life is a reflection of the state of your way. When something is wrong with your way, your life cannot be right. When something is wrong with your way, things in your life will not go the way they should. The issue of a man’s way was so important that God had to send John the Baptist to prepare the way for JESUS. Balaam was hired to put a stumbling block in the way of the Israelites. He was to curse their way so that nothing would work for them, so that they would be stuck, so that they would fail. When something is wrong with your way, your life will be crooked. Some have valleys put on their way so everything seems to collapse. They constantly fall short in everything they try to do. They just cannot pull through to the other side. Some have mountains standing before them.  No matter how hard they work, they never seem able to make it to the other side. Some have thorns on their way while curses and covenants block the way of others. When once a man’s way has been tampered with, things will not just go the way they should. Nothing may be wrong with them per say, but something is wrong with their ways. Today, I believe salvation has come for you. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.        Joshua 1:8 “Success is measured to the degree to which you fulfill purpose.” Success has diverse meanings for different people. Some people define success from the angle of wealth acquisition, fame, the level of comfort and affluence, heights attained in career or profession. Authentic success is not about position, acquisition, name, or fame. What is it about? Authentic success is all about fulfilling the purpose for which you were born. It is about you victoriously completing your mission on planet earth. KNOW THIS – Your success gives God pleasure. Conversely, your failure gives Him concern. Every genuine father is troubled when his child is not doing well and as a child of God whenever you are not doing well, it does not give Him joy. Psalm 35:27 shows us clearly that God is excited when you prosper. God is excited when you succeed. If God is your Father and He is not known for failure, then, success is the trademark of the family. God is excited when you make progress because from the beginning, you were created for a life of constant progress. God is excited when you go forward. God is excited when things work well with you. If all these things are true, why do many die as failures? The answer is not far-fetched. When you fail to make the right investments – your time, resources, opportunities, etc., failure is inevitable. Don’t be deceived, success is not cheap, it is hard-work. To be a candidate for authentic success you cannot afford to waste your time in frivolities. You are not meant to be down there; you are meant to be up there. Don’t become comfortable being on the ground. You can’t hang around with chickens and fly with the eagles. Your future was meant to be bright, but if you don’t work your way into it, you will never see it. TAKE NOTE – Success is a product of solving problems. Success is all about solving problems and you were sent to the world as a solution. You are not a part of the problem; you were born to solve it. You need to know what problem you were born to solve. Your true identity is determined by the problems you solve and the quantity and the quality of problems you solve determine your level of success. Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. JEREMIAH 1:4-7 “God imparts all the grace you require to make your destiny happen upon you, so it is your role to look up to Him.” Fulfilling your destiny is your responsibility and without destiny actualization, your life is a waste. However, the truth is no one can accomplish destiny all by himself; it takes grace. There is what is called the grace to fulfill destiny. When that grace is missing, destiny actualization becomes impossible. The fulfillment of your destiny is dependent on the grace of God; on His capacity. God imparts all the grace you require to make your destiny happen upon you, so it is your role to look up to Him. Like Prophet Jeremiah, some people have said, “I cannot speak: for I am a child.”  “I cannot do it.” “I am broke.” “The devil is stopping me.” “There is no way.” But I hear God saying to you today, “Say not, I am a child.” “Say not, I cannot do it.” “Say not, I am broke.” “Say not, the devil is stopping me.” God said to Jeremiah – It is not dependent on your abilities. It is not dependent on your skills. It is dependent on the grace I am making available to you and you will fulfill destiny without fail. This is your time and you won`t fail. “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” JEREMIAH 32:27 “Dream according to the size of your God.” Every child of God has a mandate to make solid impact on the face of the earth. And success can be achieved by just anybody who is interested in achieving it, and that includes you. When I am talking about success, I am not talking about I better pass my neighbour; I am not talking about the fact that you have food to eat, and then you have some clothes you put on your body, no. If you fail to make an impact on your world in your lifetime, it won`t be because of the devil; it won`t be because God didn’t care about you or God didn’t bless you; it will be because you refused to do what you should do or you didn’t know what you should know. The first secret of outstanding successes and people who make maximum impact is that they dream big dreams. All great men and women begin with a dream of something wonderful and different from what they have today. Allow yourself to dream. Allow yourself to imagine and fantasize about the kind of life you would like to live; the kind of money you would like to earn; the kind of money you would like to have in your bank account. The kind of impact you would like to make, allow yourself to dream. The good thing is that there is no price on dreaming. Nobody charges you for dreaming. And when you dream, dream big dreams. What do you see for your life, for your business, for your career, concerning your future, what do you see? Successes are not necessarily the smartest people; they are simply people who understand the principles of success and they stick to it. How smart you are may be the reason why you are failure because you are too smart to follow instructions, too smart to be humble, too smart to just do what you need to do. You succeed by repetitively doing the things that make for success. It’s all about cause and effect. JESUS saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. JOHN 4:34 “Loving what you do means placing value on what you are doing and being committed to valuing and protecting it.” There is a school of thought that says you should do what you love; doing what you love is not what makes it because what you love may not necessarily take you there. But it is falling in love with what you do and when you are in love with what you do, then you suddenly realize that you wouldn’t have worked any day of your life, because you are simply loving it. Not loving what you do makes what you do a curse, makes it a burden, makes it a stress because you have not fallen in love. This was the mystery of our Lord and Master JESUS. He said “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me and to finish it.” Loving what you do means placing value on what you are doing and being committed to valuing and protecting it. JESUS was in love with what He was doing and He placed value on His Ministry. He was so consumed by the work of the Kingdom and it was evident to everyone around Him. He did not just talk about it, He exhibited the passion He had for the Kingdom everywhere He went. JESUS was so committed to protecting the Kingdom that He could not stand it when He went to the Temple and saw what they had turned the temple into. He met people buying and selling in the Temple and cast out all of them and restored sanity. He acted in that manner because He loved what He was doing. When you are in love with what you are doing, it shows. You won`t feign ignorance when things go wrong because it is not your direct responsibility. You will go out of your way to make things happen. You will eliminate the excuses. You will find a way to make it work. You won`t turn a blind eye and keep mute. Why? Because you are in love with what you do. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god. Acts 28:6 “Anyone who won’t leave the past, will lose in the battle of destiny.” On his way to be brought before Caesar, Paul and the rest of the men who were with him, suffered a ship-wreck. They got to an island called Melita and while Paul was trying to lay a bundle of sticks on the fire that was kindled to give them warmth as of the cold weather, a viper came out of the heat and fastened on his hand. And guess what Paul’s reaction was? He did not panic, he just shook off the beast into the fire and continued with what he was doing. Everyone around him expected that after being bitten by such a venomous beast, he should swell up and die but Paul was as stable as ever. They waited a great while to broadcast the news of Paul’s death but nothing happened. To them, that Paul was facing vengeance as a result of his offence that is what must have caused him to be attacked by a viper but when they were done with all their reasonings and analysis, Paul was still standing. Paul was still bubbling with life. Paul was immovable because he heard God in Acts 27:24 – For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. In their minds, they had concluded that the next thing that would announced will be the death of Paul and that will be the end of his story, but they were totally disappointed. They changed their minds and said that he was a god. Everyone that has concluded on you saying you will never make it or that you won`t go beyond your current level shall be totally disappointed.  Why? Because you are not like anybody else. The same thing that happens to others and they drop dead, if it happens to you, you will go up; you will become better. I prophesy to you, they have been waiting for the worst concerning you, God will surprise them with the best concerning you. God will cause them to change their minds. There are some people who have been waiting for when you will come and beg them; they are waiting to see the worst happen to you, they are waiting for you to lose the job, they are waiting and expecting something terrible, to happen to you. Receive this – they will wait forever and instead of seeing evil they’ll see good; instead of seeing destruction, they will see your promotion; instead of seeing shame around your life, they will see honour and greatness, in the Name of JESUS. Ponder Point Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: PSALM 45 – 47

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2 Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The Word is the trigger for faith growth in the life of a believer. As a child of God, once you come to the knowledge of Christ your new life account is credited with a measure of faith. You become a “believer”. But you have to move that little measure to a mighty reservoir of faith. From Scriptures, we see different kinds and levels of faith. Peter believed in JESUS; he knew the Master could do so many miracles, that’s why he said “…Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto thee on the water” Matthew 14:28. But his faith was not enough to confidently withstand the wind that blew him, fear overtook his faith and he began to sink and JESUS gave the diagnosis “O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Matthew 14:31. In that scenario, Peter could think “Oh, this my Master is not as powerful as I thought” or “He doesn’t love me as much as He says.” But no! The problem was Peter, his faith was too little! David’s courage to go after the Philistine warlord, Goliath, was a buildup of faith in the God that delivered the lion and bear into his hands. If you will not believe God to take away the little headache, you cannot believe Him to take away cancer or something more serious. Hear me – You will never be able to access a victory that is above the level of your faith. Oftentimes we desire things that exist above the level of our faith. For instance, how do you believe God for a car or house when you don’t believe in His ability to provide your daily bread? It won`t work and you will end up being disappointed in God, instead of ourselves. The problem is never God….His Word works if you care to work it but there are stages. Faith grows. If your faith is not in place, frustration is inevitable. The Word of God is dependable, anytime, any day. Locate it, keep saying it, don’t stop talking it and as you do that, the strength of your faith in God just keeps building and it will happen. The centurion understood the efficacy of the Word of God and he told JESUS to speak the words only for his servant to be healed. JESUS marvelled and called that “great faith”. My prayer for you today is that your faith will grow and you will do exploits in your journey of destiny by reason of your faith. Ponder Point Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: PSALM 43 – 44 NEW TESTAMENT: 1 CORINTHIANS 13

Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. Exodus 7:2-4 “The reason that situation has tarried for long, the reason that case has prolonged, the reason that affliction has defied all, is so that the works of God should be made manifest in you.” I have heard people pray all manner of prayers in their quest to obtain victory against the work of the enemy in their lives. But I want to draw your attention to the Word of God to help you understand the reason why it seems like there is a delay in the delivery of your answers. When God visited the nation of Israel, to set them free from the bondage they were in for 430 years, He sent His Servant Moses to tell Pharaoh to let them go so they will serve Him. The Bible records that Pharaoh refused to let them go. The decision not to let God’s people go was very expensive as the entire land of Egypt and its inhabitants had to pay dearly for it. One after the other, the ten plagues came upon the land and people of Egypt in quick succession, but inspite of all the signs Pharaoh had seen by the hand of God, he still refused to let the children of Israel go. The question now is why did he refuse to let them go, even after he saw the terrible judgments that God had brought upon them? The Word tells us that God hardened the heart of Pharaoh, that was the reason why he was adamant; that was the reason why he resisted their freedom; that is why turned deaf ears to the messages he received from God via Moses. God hardened the heart of Pharaoh to make a show of His power. He said, “I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.” God was saying to the enemy, “Your worst arrow is not as good as the least I can do.” God wanted to make a show of how cheap the enemy’s fiery darts are. So, it doesn’t matter how long the enemy has been in force, when your time of deliverance comes, God will make a show out of it. The reason that situation has tarried for long, the reason that case has prolonged, the reason that affliction has defied, all is so that the works of God should be made manifest in you – John 9:3. In other words, God wants to make a show with your testimony. Whatever the enemy has done in your life, God is going to make a show out of it. And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord: Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. GENESIS 19:17-20 “God’s utmost desire, at all times, is for you to have the best, the best there is.” God never wants us to settle for that which is less than His original plan for us but most often than not, we prefer to settle for less. God’s plan for you is to live in abundance, never in lack. God’s plan for you is that you should always have more than enough and to spare. God’s plan is not for you to be running your expenses on a tight budget. God’s plan is that you live in plenty, not in impoverishment. In the Scripture above, God brought Lot and his family out of the land of Sodom and Gomorrah before He destroyed the cities, and told him (Lot) to escape to the mountain so they won`t be consumed. But Lot said, “I am sorry my Lord, that one is too big for me to handle. I just need a little place where we can manage for a while until this is over. If I go there, something bad might happen to me.” So, Lot obviously knew better than God, Who is the Omniscient, the All-knowing God, Who was in a greater position to him what to do and where to go. Like some people would do, Lot rather settled for something that was little, something he could easily control, what he could define with his senses. And guess what? God did not argue with Lot; He allowed him to go ahead with the choice he had made. Wherever you have found yourself today is a function of the choices you made yesterday. Sometimes, people blame God for the situation they found themselves, meanwhile, it is possible they never sought for God’s direction or even if they did, they chose to follow what they thought was convenient for them, what they could take at the moment. God is telling you go to the topmost top and you are telling Him, the topmost top is too high, I can’t get there. Can you just give me a more comfortable place, something small that I can handle? Lot said, “Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one…”so Lot was going for what was easy, what was near; the goal that seemed easily achievable. That was not God’s agenda for him; God’s agenda was something much bigger. Even so, God’s agenda for you is something much bigger; it is something beyond you and it will only take God to pursue and surmount it. Never settle for something less. He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. PROVERBS 28:19 “The work you do makes you relevant and useful to your world.” The work you do is a platform through which you give expression to your life, expression to your worth and expression to your content. What you are doing is a channel God is using to put food on your table. A lot of individuals complain about the work they do. They go to bed complaining about it. When they wake up in the morning, they complain. On their way to work, they complain. Eventually when they get to the office, they still complain. The truth is the problem is not their job, the main issue is their lack of understanding about the purpose of the work they do which has affected their attitude towards the job. When you operate in this manner, you have missed it; that work cannot be a blessing to you, it becomes a curse. Why? Because a curse makes you sweat. Understand this – As someone on this planet, you are useless without work. The work you do makes you relevant and useful to your world; it is a part of master plan for your destiny fulfillment. It therefore means that when you have no work, you cease to exist. People identify you with what you do, so if you are doing nothing, you are of no value to your world because the value of anyone is defined by the person’s work. After graduating from the higher institution, the status of any graduate who is unemployed is ‘Applicant’. For months that sometimes turn into years, they go about job hunting. Some persons end up with lucrative jobs while others engage in menial jobs until they get something better. Why do people look for work and can even go as far as accepting to do anything? It is because work gives you worth. Don’t see what you are doing as a task; see it as a service you are rendering, adding value to your world, so be excited about it.
