Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. ISAIAH 60:1-3 “There is a shining destiny for every child of God…until you arise, you won`t shine.” Every child of God is born an overcomer; every child of God is a victor by destiny. It is in your DNA because you are born of God; you are made of God. Whatsoever is born of God is an overcomer. You are an overcomer; you cannot know defeat. That means what can stop you does not exist. As an overcomer, you are programmed to shine in life. The Word of God attests to that as seen in our opening Scripture. However, there is a point you should not miss; your shining will only happen when you arise. The very first word from the passage is “Arise…” You won`t shine because your light has come, but because you will arise. If you are not shining, it is not because of the devil, it is simply because you are sleeping; until you arise, you will not shine. LOOK AT THIS – Do you set your wake up alarm to ring at 4:30am and you end up snoozing it at 10 minutes interval until you turn it off and eventually wake up at 6:30am? This is exactly what many people are doing to their lives. For many weeks, months and years, they have been snoozing the alarm of their lives until old age; they failed to arise when they should have. There were seasons in their lives when the alarm of destiny was calling them to action, calling them to wake up, calling them to set goals and run with them but they failed to arise. They slept their way through life by procrastinating, putting the blame on government, their family, their spouse, the society, when that was simply a call to shine. Until you arise, you won`t have a new story to tell. Until you arise, your destiny will remain unknown. Until you arise, your world will not hear your voice. The day the prodigal son arose, his story changed. He stopped eating with pigs and became a celebrity (Luke 15:18-24). You have a shining destiny; you have slept enough. This is your wake up moment, Arise! Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: JOB 1 – 2 NEW TESTAMENT: ROMANS 5

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Luke 5:17 “Your miracle is your responsibility, you must plug into the Power Source to receive.” God has committed Himself to doing good to His children; His earnest desire is that their glorious dreams come to pass. But one of the major challenges many of God’s precious people have is that they don’t know how to receive their miracles. Some get confused, they despair or even get into depression. They wonder why God has not responded to them. They even blame God or secretly question God. Some get bitter with God. God always makes the power for your miracle available, but receiving your miracle is your responsibility. Notice, the power was present. But the Bible mentioned only one case of someone who There is always power available when God is present in the house. There is always power available when the gospel is preached. There is always power available when the Lord’s anointed and the anointing are in operation. However, to receive your miracle you must plug into that power and make it work for you. This is what some people never get to know. They think it is the responsibility of God, or the Pastor or Preacher to perform. Infact, some are pessimistic; they just say, “Okay, let me see.” Listen, in the natural, we have electric power. That power can be available in your house and yet you are in darkness. You must turn on the switch. There must be contact and transmission. How do you plug into this power? How do you receive your miracle? You must turn on the switch of faith. Matthew 9:22, Mark 10:52, Luke 17:19.By turning on the switch of faith, it means that you believe beyond every shadow of doubt that God’s will is for you to have the miracle and you are determined to receive it now. I.W.C begins tonight and it is time to turn on the switch of faith. It is your hour of visitation. It is time to plug in and take delivery of your portion. I decree over your life and destiny – I pray that you will rise an unstoppable man or woman of destiny by God. And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? 1 Samuel 10:11 “You prepare for life changing encounters by possessing a settled faith.” Your destiny in God can never happen without you having certain life-changing encounters. Peter, James and John all had diverse life changing encounters which made for the actualization of their destinies. Our Lord and Master had diverse life changing encounters, otherwise, He never would have fulfilled His prophetic destiny. However, as we have already established, life changing encounters do not just happen, they are prepared for. JESUS prepared through 40 days of fasting and prayer for life changing encounters with the anointing of the Holy Ghost. The seriousness you attach to any covenant event is crucial to you getting serious results. There is no meeting more serious and more important than a meeting with God. All you could ever dream, hope, desire or think of can be delivered in that one event. A meeting with God is a life changing meeting and you must prepare by possessing a settled faith. What is a Settled Faith? Faith that has no doubt.Faith that does not waiver.Faith that says if only I can attend I.W.C, my blind eyes will open, my children will come, a life of poverty will become history for me forever. It is the kind of faith that the friends of the man who was sick of paralysis had when they got to the place where JESUS was ministering. There was no space for them to take him in and so they uncovered the roof and let down the bed carrying the sick – Mark 2:2-5. VITAL ATTRIBUTES OF A SETTLED FAITH? The Pathway To Life Changing Encounters 2
Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. MATTHEW 25:1-4 “Your meeting with God demands that you clean up.” Miracles, breakthroughs, promotions and turnarounds happen when opportunity meets preparation. Encounters are not to the available or the participant, but to the prepared. Just like passing an exam is not for the writer of the exam, but for the prepared. Success is determined in the place of preparation, not in the exam hall. It does not matter how serious the candidate may look on the day of the examination, if he or she failed in the place of preparation, failure is imminent. The foolish virgins failed in the place of preparation; they had no oil for their lamps but the wise ones got themselves well prepared in readiness for their encounter (Matthew 25:1-4). One way you need to get prepared for your encounter with God is by sanctifying yourself. What does it mean? Your preparation in the place of sanctification is so fundamental to having your desired encounters. It is being properly dressed spiritually for the occasion. In Matthew 22, there is a parable JESUS used to give an illustration about the Kingdom of Heaven. It was a marriage feast in honour of a prince. The king sent his servants to the city to bring in the invited guests but they would not come and so the invitation was open to all and sundry. Then, when the king came in to see the guests who accepted to attend, there was a man who was not properly dressed for the feast and the king asked his servants to cast him out. What was his offence? He was not wearing the right garment; he did not sanctify himself; he did not prepare well for the feast. But was he invited? The answer is yes; since he was not sanctified, he got humiliated – Matthew 22:9-13. If cleaning up and purifying one’s self is a requirement for appearing before a king who is a mere mortal being, how much more God, Who is the Creator of the entire Universe? I.W.C is your meeting place with God and that you are going to meet Him is enough for you to clean up, sanctify yourself in a fast and abstain from all defilements. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. John 9:25 “Every gathering where God is present is an appointed time of visitation.” For any worthwhile destiny to happen, there are life changing encounters you must have, if you miss them, you lose out. What are these life-changing encounters? They are encounters that re-write stories; encounters that bring prophecies to pass; encounters that right the wrongs that must have taken place in lives; encounters that make destinies to happen; changing levels, turning round situations, transforming lives. The Patriarchs of faith were products of life changing encounters – And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake. So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him. And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother. GET THIS – Every God ordained convocation, every gathering where God is present, is an appointed time of visitation. Few days from now, you are about to have an encounter of a lifetime at the Inheritance World Conference (I.W.C) 2023. I.W.C is not just a Church Convention, neither is it some kind of annual religious gathering, rather it is a set time for the delivery of the covenant inheritance of God’s people to them by a mighty hand. It is ordained by God Himself to give undeniable expression and validation to the Inheritance mandate as delivered in December 1997. At the heart of the Mandate, is God’s desperate desire to see His people take practical possession of their inheritance which Christ paid in full for. I.W.C therefore is an arrangement of Divinity for believers all over the world to come and receive Divine enlightenment, be stripped of whatever makes them a reproach and a mockery to the Kingdom and have life-changing encounters as their inheritance is delivered to them particularly in the areas that the enemy had hitherto resisted them. This is your season of visitation. Your world is about to hear the news of your flight to the heights of greatness. No Situation Is Hopeless
Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. LUKE 7:12-15 “That everybody says there is no way does not mean there is no way…something can still happen.” JESUS arrived the city of Nain with His disciples and multitudes of people. When they got close to the gate of the city, they met a funeral procession. A widow had just lost her only son, her only hope. For her, there was nothing left to live for; everything that made life meaningful had been taken away from her by the sting of death. Life was officially over for her. It does not matter the case, that there is no hope in sight does not mean the situation is hopeless. That everybody says there is no way does not mean there is no way, even if it is one second to go, something can still happen; even when the final whistle has been blown, something can still happen. Even when they say it is over, something can still happen. Even when you hear them say things like “Let’s accept it as fate, maybe that is the way God wanted it”, a thousand times NO! Many times, that is not the way God wanted it, it is the way unbelief has allowed it. When JESUS saw the corpse, He knew that the case was for signs and wonders and so He went on and performed the miracle of raising the dead man to life – Isaiah 8:18. Have you found yourself in impossible situations that made you ask this question. “How come my things are always like this?” It is simply because you are for the extra-ordinary; you are for signs and for wonders. Until you are face to face with impossibility, you don’t have the opportunity to manifest the God of all possibilities. Every white chalk needs a blackboard to shine, so when you have the impossibility, it is an opportunity for a sign and a wonder to shine. Burst That Monster 2
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. ISAIAH 8:12 “The cost of fear is directly proportional to the magnitude of your success.” In Mark 4:35-40, JESUS’ disciples encountered a great storm that almost sank their ship. JESUS was right there in the boat when the boisterous waves began to blow. His disciples were afraid but JESUS was having a nap. He did not fear their fear. He was in the same boat; He was facing the same situation but He was not moved. Why? What a disaster it would have been if JESUS was not in that ship; the disciples could have drowned. Fear can cost you so much and can deny you so much as well. There are steps you should have taken few months back or few years back which you did not take out of fear. There are opportunities of advancement you have missed because of fear. There are people who should have been blessed by you but that never happened because of fear. Burst That Monster 1
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 “Fear is faith in the negative.” Nothing destroys like fear. Nothing hinders miracles like fear. Nothing torments like fear. Nothing cripples destinies like it. Saul disobeyed God, got into sin and lost his kingship. At the root of it was fear. What was he afraid of? He feared the rejection of the people and this led him to compromise and he ended up in self-destruction – 1 Samuel 15:22-24. Look at Job. He was successful and prosperous but was overtaken by fear – Job 3:25. He was afraid of falling; he was afraid of losing his wealth, his honour, his social status. KNOW THIS – Fear is as powerful as faith. Fear is faith in the negative. Faith produces positive miracles; fear produces negative miracles. When you walk in fear, you walk in captivity and you give the enemy the atmosphere to perform. What is your fear? Whatever your fears may be, you must understand that fear is not of God. Everyone at one time or the other had some fears but you can always burst that monster called fear. Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: NEHEMIAH 7 – 9
Have You Heard God?
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. Exodus 14:15-16 “There are many defeats we suffer not because we didn’t pray but because we didn’t hear God.” Moses cried unto the Lord when he found himself and the children of Israel in a dilemma. Moses prayed to God, but he didn’t only pray; after he prayed something happened, he heard God. This is where some people miss it; they pray to God but their mode of communication is a monologue, a one-way traffic. They go to God and talk to Him, they tell Him all that they desire and conclude with ‘in JESUS’ Name, Amen’ and simply walk away, saying ‘I have prayed’. But the truth is, they won`t behave this way with a man they go to ask for help; not bothering about what he has to say, whether he has a response or not. We miss the miracles and God-ordained seasons of visitations many times because we don’t hear Him. The God we serve is not dumb. Inasmuch as you believe that He hears you, also believe that He speaks and can respond to what you are saying. It is good to know that you prayed for 20hours, but please can you listen to what God has to say? Can you be quiet to hear Him speak to you? If you had a problem and your friend advised you to go and speak with your father because he has what it takes to handle it; on your return, one of the questions you will be asked is what your father said. So have you prayed? If the answer is yes, then what did God say? There are many defeats we suffer not because we didn’t pray but because we didn’t hear God. Praying is not enough; it is not meant to be a one-way communication. If you spoke with God, then He has something to say to you. Moses prayed, God spoke and instructed that he should lift up the rod in his hand and stretch it over the sea. Do you know that Moses could have still been going about with the rod and the children of Israel would have been destroyed not because Moses did not pray but because Moses did not hear God. Receive grace to hear Him from now on. Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: NEHEMIAH 4 – 6
It Is Never Too Late To Pray 2
And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. MARK 14:36 “Prayer must be an expression of your faith for it to deliver.” Our opening Scripture captures the prayer of our Lord and Master, JESUS CHRIST, in the garden of Gethsemane. The foundation of JESUS’ prayer was His faith in God. JESUS was simply saying, “I know that all things are possible unto You. You can bail me out right now. You can change this situation, there is nothing You cannot do.” His prayer was an expression of His faith in God to bring Him out of the situation, even when it was most impossible; even when it was too late for an intervention. It was not an expression of fear or anxiety; it was an expression of faith, a knowing that all things are possible to God; a knowing that He was talking to the Only One that can handle it. It is the faith in your heart that gives rise to your prayer. Prayer must be an expression of your faith for it to deliver. Some people pray, but the reason for their prayer is fear. Faith is what makes prayer work. When all hope is gone, our prayer must be borne out of faith, not of fear or anxiety, for it to produce. The mistake many of us make is that we often fail to pray at the last minute because our faith has failed and we can’t see how God can do anything anymore. I hear some people say, “Even God knows I have tried.” We are instructed to pray always and not to faint – Luke 18:1. That means, when you are not seeing the results, pray. When the time has passed for the miracle to happen, pray. When you have done all you needed to do and you have not heard God, pray. When you have nowhere else to turn, pray. Why? Because prayer at any point, is an open invitation for God to do something. Remember, God will do nothing on the earth except someone ask Him to. You are holding on to Him because you know that there is nothing, absolutely nothing that is impossible with Him; there is no situation that is beyond remedy, under God. This is the real test of your faith in God. Can you trust Him to intervene at the last minute? Do you believe in His miracle working power to perform wonders when it is most impossible? Can you stand on His Word and refuse to move an inch away from it, knowing that God can? Then pray. Prayer is faith in action. It takes believing to pray; I believed, therefore have I prayed. Faith without works is dead. If you believe God can still intervene at the last minute, then pray. Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: NEHEMIAH 1 – 3 NEW TESTAMENT: ACTS 28
