It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2 “Your destiny is not your decision, it is your discovery.” We are made unto our God kings and priests. And from our text today, the honour of a king is in searching out a matter; resolving riddles, dissolving doubts and uncovering hidden mysteries. Your destiny is not your decision, it is your discovery. Sadly, many cannot say what their destinies are, because they simply have not discovered it. And the reason they have not is because they have not searched. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, Luke 4:17      JESUS in the passage above found the place which was written of His destiny. The Word found written there in the text implied that He searched. You also must find what your destiny is. You must become very clear about your destination. But for that to happen, you must search. The good news is you don’t have to search too far, it is all written in the Word. The destiny of everyone born of God is already documented in the pages of Scriptures. Can I show you? Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Ephesians 4:13 Your destiny and my destiny is Christhood. Nothing more, nothing less. God’s predetermined end for you through all the dealings, experiences, situations, circumstances etc. is that you come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. This is why Paul writing in Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto JESUS…” (Looking unto our destination, the Endpoint of our journey, the Standard Bearer). Attaining Christhood is a task that every man that seeks to fulfill destiny in this Kingdom must accomplish. Somebody says, but is that not too much? Is Christhood really my destiny? I will prove it to you in one more Scripture. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. John 12:24   JESUS is that corn of wheat. The purpose of His death was reproduction; not about having people who are almost like Him or close to being like Him. No, exactly like Him. The Church and many believers have missed this for so long. They are consumed with making Heaven. Well, I don’t have a problem with that; however the bigger deal is not making Heaven, but attaining Christhood. Heaven is the default home of Christ. Attaining Christhood is your destiny. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Ephesians 1:11 “You may not have a name, fame, wealth, position, connections, goodwill or even an education, but you have a destiny.” You may not have a name, fame, wealth, position, connections, goodwill or even an education, but you have a destiny. Challenges may be staring you in the face or you are probably engulfed with setbacks in different areas of life but you still have a destiny. You probably have made some mistakes that make you see your future as hopeless or make you think your dreams and visions will never come to pass again, the truth remains that you still have a destiny. The question now is what really is destiny? It is the divinely predetermined destination for your life – God’s designed end for you; the decision Heaven has already made as to the final outcome of your life. And take God’s Word for it, that end is glorious, colourful, beautiful, grand, fulfilling. There is nothing ugly or evil in the end that God has decided for you. Jeremiah 29:11 Some people out of ignorance ascribe evil ends to God. No. His thoughts (plans, purposes and designs) for you are of good (blessings, fulfilling) and never of evil. God is not evil. There is no evil in God. He is eternally good. You therefore never need to buy any lie that suggest that maybe God’s determined end for you was for you to be a failure of some sort. It is impossible. Look at what He says to you in Daniel 12:13b – “…for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” This is awesome! Keep your eyes, heart and mind on your destination. Forget the noise, storms, trials, obstacles, impossibilities, limitations and what have you. One thing is needful and you have it. It is called destiny. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ JESUS, and have no confidence in the flesh. Philippians 3:3  “The greatest need of the believer is the Outpouring and it is lack of wisdom to pursue other things at its expense.” The day the believer knows that nothing produces without the Outpouring, he will stop depending on his efforts, knowing fully well that they would not produce without the Outpouring. But inasmuch as the Outpouring is the most important need the believer has, it does not just come, it is provoked and made to happen. The Outpouring comes as an answer to the ardent, heartfelt desire of a believer or group of believers. To have an encounter with the Outpouring, you must be thirsty and desperate for it. How do you know a believer who is thirsty for the Outpouring? The proof of how thirsty you are for the Outpouring is known by how much you are willing to give up to access it. Look at this – the hunger of the Master for the Outpouring was more than His hunger for food. He gave up food for 40 days and nights for the Outpouring. No wonder He returned in the power of the Spirit. Friend, the bigger the price you pay, the bigger the Outpouring you will experience. Depths of experiences in God are not cheap, they are very expensive; not in terms of money but maybe time, things or people that you have to give up to have these experiences. How much value do you place on the Outpouring? What unholy relationships, addictions and habits are you willing to give up? Friend, the Outpouring is all you need for you to be fruitful in all areas of life. If you are tired of losing years and not gaining much, if you are tired of counting months and not making progress, if you are tired of changing calendars without seeing corresponding changes in your life, then, it is time to go for the Outpouring. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: Isaiah 44:3 “The reason why people are struggling and experiencing hardship in the house of joy is because of the absence of the Outpouring.” It does not matter what it has been, you can have explosive fruitfulness whether in your career, business, marriage, etc. Understand that the last day believer is destined to see explosive results and fruitfulness. If this is so, why then are some of God’s precious people not seeing their desired harvest? Why are many in Church still struggling today? The answer is simple, the Outpouring of the Spirit is missing. Explosive fruitfulness in all endeavour of life forever answers to the Outpouring of the Spirit – Isaiah 32:15.  When the rain of the spirit overtakes your seed, explosive multiplication cannot but take place. In our text today, God says, “I will pour my spirit upon thy seed,” the question is, why does my seed need His Spirit? It is because it takes His Spirit for my seed to produce. JESUS came and planted seeds of ministry for three and a half years. The harvest did not quite come until the Outpouring of the Spirit came. Little wonder He told the disciples to tarry and not do a thing until the Holy Ghost comes upon them. The disciples were the seeds of JESUS and the warning He gave as He was ascending into Heaven was that they should wait until the Outpouring comes. And it made all the difference because, before the Outpouring, they were unknown, timid and void of impact but when the Holy Ghost came upon them, they were manifesting everywhere like loose cannons, they took cities over and set places on fire. These men turned the world upside down and all these could only have happened because the Outpouring came upon them. Nothing terminates unfruitfulness, barrenness and dryness like the Outpouring, go for it. Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: JOB 18 – 19 NEW TESTAMENT: ROMANS 10

“Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea… But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness… Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” 1 Corinthians 10:1, 5, 7 “Those who do not learn from history will soon become casualties of what killed those who have gone ahead.” Our text today speaks of our fathers in the faith, who had no fruit to show for all the spiritual experiences they had enjoyed in God. They belonged to the playing company, wasters of grace who, inspite of all the depths they touched in God, God was still not pleased with them because all they did with everything God has privileged them to know and touch was to play. They sat down to eat, took in of the Word, took down notes, caught revelations, they were taught and discipled but they had nothing to show for it, instead, they rose up to play. May I ask you today saint, what are you doing with all that you are receiving? What do you have to show for all that you have been taught in Church? These men of old were in the playing business, no results or fruits to show. It is no different today because in every Church, we find two categories of people, those who are playing and those who are fruiting. Those who are playing always have time: time to discourage other believers, time to gossip and slander people, time to be unserious, time to be suspicious of other people, judgmental and critical, time to be unfaithful and uncommitted to God and His work. Truth be told, the reason you have time for what is not is because you are of the playing category in the Church. Any believer that is not passionately involved in producing results and doing what the Master commands, is already in the captivity of the enemy. How do I know? If you are not being used by God, you are being used by the devil.  Nature abhors vacuum, if you are not busy working for God, you must be busy working for the devil; it is impossible to be neutral. It is time to get busy! We are called to work, JESUS chose you and I to go and bring forth fruits that will abide. “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John 15:16 God pays labourers, God rewards fruitfulness which is why, until you are busy doing your part, God cannot be committed to playing HIS own part.  In the natural, the best time to ask your father for something is when you’ve made him very happy. So it is in the spiritual, when you are busy producing results and winning souls, God says “Ask me for anything and I will give it to you.” Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: JOB 15 – 17 NEW TESTAMENT: ROMANS 9

And JESUS answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. LUKE 17:17-18 “Being thankful is a default lifestyle of grateful hearts.” Religion makes for frustration, only revelation makes for distinction. The problem of many is the fact of operating in the realm of religion. Our subject of concern today is thanksgiving and it is very crucial we pay close attention by giving due diligence to it, especially at this time when we are about to cross over to the second half of the year 2023. I have come to observe that when many people think about thanksgiving, they think of it as a Church programme or event. Thanksgiving is not an event, it is a covenant exercise that keeps God committed to blessing you, answering your prayers and doing more of whatever He has done. It is what you do naturally when God has done you good. GET THIS Whenever God does a thing, He is waiting for your return. In Luke chapter 17, the Bible gives an account of the ten lepers who came to JESUS seeking to be healed and He simply instructed them to go and show themselves to the Priest. While they were on their way, they noticed that they were cleansed. Out of the ten of them, only one returned to JESUS for thanksgiving. JESUS said in verse 17, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?” JESUS was waiting for their return but only one of them showed up. The truth is, nine of them were ingrates, they were not thankful for what God did for them. He didn’t tell them, “As you go on the way, when you are cleansed come back and thank Me.” He didn’t need to command thanksgiving. If you issued a cheque to someone as a gift, you don’t tell the person to come back and thank you; it is expected that the person should naturally come back or reach you to say thank you. An ingrate will have a hard life; nobody wants to continually do things for an ingrate. If you are grateful, you will be thankful by default; being thankful is a default lifestyle of grateful hearts. If you are not thankful, you will be stranded in life. You don’t need cajoling to thank God, what you need is a revelation. The leper who got cleansed and returned to JESUS caught a revelation about thanksgiving that others did not have. How thankful you are for what God has done will determine whether He will do anything else in time to come. If you are not thankful for what God has done in the 1st half of the year, you won`t see what He has for you the 2nd half of the year. Many people depend on prayer and fasting alone; if fasting and prayer was the only thing, all those who engage in it should be high flyers but that is not the case. I recommend that you dedicate the rest of the days in this month to thank God for His faithfulness to you from the beginning of the year. There is so much that God will do in your life in the next few months of 2023 but you must first thank Him for what He has done in the past; it flows from a heart of gratitude. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22:32 “Impossibilities are your golden opportunities to prove the authenticity of Scriptures.” In our text today, we find JESUS saying to Peter, I have prayed for you, not so the devil would not have his way, not so you would not die young but that your “…faith fail not.” I have come to discover that people do not fail in life majorly because of the opposition, but because of their faith size, why? Because as long as your faith is standing, you can handle any devil. There is no dart the devil will fire at you that your shield of faith cannot quench. This is why, the most profitable move you can make in this kingdom is the move to grow your faith. A man of faith never sees frustrations, he rather frustrates frustrations and this is made possible because; “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly…”– 2 Thessalonians 1:3a When your faith grows, it shows. It shows in the way you react violently against fear builders, it shows in your confessions which are not empty talks but words spoken as a direct products of the revelations you have contacted from the Word of God. The authenticity of your faith is proven when the situation seems most impossible. Faith is a process that begins with hearing the Word of God, to meditating upon it, to your confessions of faith, to acting out what you believe and being consistent at it. These grow your faith as you keep feeding and exercising it, just like the muscles in your body, as you keep stressing it, it keeps stretching and growing. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. Luke 17:5  “What you see per time in the school of exploits is what your faith level can command.” Your challenge is not that of unanswered prayers, it is that you have not made efforts at growing your faith. I came to let you know today that your faith should ever be increasing. Little wonder the apostles cried to JESUS, “…Lord, increase our faith.” All through Scriptures, it is apparent that faith is in levels and in degrees. We have for instance, the mustard seed faith, little faith, great faith..etc but you see, until you grow in faith, there are things appointed for you that you will never see or handle, battles you will never be able to win, territories you will never be able to conquer, breakthroughs you will not be able to see, not because God is not with you but because you have not grown in faith. There is no automated means of growing in faith, hands cannot be laid on you for you to have faith or grow in it, you simply must have to exercise yourself into it. The Bible says in Romans, “Faith cometh by hearing….” It is impossible to grow in faith without studying the Word, this is what builds you up. Every time you pay attention to the Word, your faith gets built up. Faith happens in the heart, though it comes by hearing; this is why the Bible says, “With the heart, man believes.” Do not be deceived, the size of your faith determines the size of your exploits and greatness. You will never be able to access the level of victory that is above the size of your faith. When David took on the bear and the lion, he had faith for it, his faith level was on top of it. So it was, when he conquered Goliath. It was not his skill in the use of catapults that got him the victory, it was that he had the faith required to conquer him. You heard him say, “…Let no man’s heart fail…”; friend, that was faith talking. David was a giant of faith, everybody’s faith in the land had failed in confronting Goliath including King Saul’s except for the faith of David. David, though small physically, was a giant of faith, meanwhile Saul, though tall, was a dwarf in the school of faith who could not defeat Goliath. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the Heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; Genesis 22:17 “One right seed sown can bail you out in times of need.” Do you know that one seed well sown can get you unquantifiable harvests, results so dramatic and numerous that cannot be counted in terms of number just as the stars of Heaven or as the sands of the seashore? In your seed lies the potency of dominion, the potency of possessing the gates of the enemy.  It’s not enough to make a sacrifice or give an offering but it’s more important that your seed be acceptable. A story was once told of a man whose normal offering used to be about N1,000 naira and God told him to step it up to N15,000 but he struggled and finally settled for N5,000 naira. Few days down the road, his first son developed a chronic disease that turned him into a vegetable. 45 days running and the boy was in the hospital battling for his life and everyone was busy running around to save his life. This man waited on God in fasting and prayers and God spoke to him again and said: “If you had given me an acceptable offering, I would have blessed your seed and part of the harvest would have stopped this from happening to your child”. He further said, “I saw the enemy coming and I warned you in advance to change your offering but you refused.” It is only when your offering is accepted that God releases his Spirit upon it. God does not pour His Spirit or blessings upon the seed that is not acceptable to him. That is why you should never just cast something into the offering box, the question you should seek to answer always is, will this be acceptable to my God? Remember, you are not under any compulsion, it is between you and God according to the level of His blessings upon your life. Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: JOB 5 – 7

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so. Exodus 14:4 “The ultimate result of the glory show of our God is so that all the earth would know and worship Him as God.” We serve a God that loves show. He loves to show His power and one of the ways in which He does this is in revealing His glory. God delights in revealing His glory and He does this best when there is an impossible story, like it was in our text today. It seemed so impossible that the children of Israel will be free from the captivity of Egypt, face to face with the Red Sea, it looked like the Egyptian forces will destroy them, but the same path that brought them rescue, God showed up and used to swallow the Egyptians up thereby showing His glory as God. The three Hebrew boys were thrown into a fiery furnace, coming out alive for them was impossible but God showed up, The Fourth Man appeared in the fire, and again, God showed His glory and the entire land was made to worship Him. God showed forth His glory when Elijah called for a contest with the prophets of baal. He understood the God he was following and did not have the slightest problem challenging the opposition with something that was totally impossible. After giving the prophets of baal ample time to prove that baal was nothing more than a piece of man-made element, he did not work with the dry firewood, he made it more impossible by adding barrels upon barrels of water to the altar, dialed God’s number and God showed up gloriously. The glory returned to God and the end result was that many hearts were turned back to worship Him as the true God. People may have tried and concluded it cannot work, they may have exhausted all known options, but our God steps in and shows Himself as God when all the efforts of men have failed so that no one is in doubt that HE alone is God.  Just Do It Prayers 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN OLD TESTAMENT: JOB 3 – 4 NEW TESTAMENT: ROMANS 6
